Mayor Gloria L. Alindogan surprised Ashley Mostera, a resident of Brgy. Sipaya, Juban on her 13th Birthday with Municipal Councilor Aida Guevarra – Committee Chair on Health, Josefina Deri – Project Inspector, and Dr. Josefiel Ludovice – RHU Physician. Aside from the cake for a sweet and colorful birthday celebration, the Mayor made sure Ashley was given medical attention to see her current condition.
Mayor Glo sang Happy Birthday to Ashley which made her very happy.
Aside from the free check-up and cake, the Mayor also presented Ashley with another good news… A new wheel chair will be given by the Mayor, with the help of Mrs. Gleena Alindogan -Sy who already knew about Ashley’s situation.
Ms. Gleena was touched by the family’s story on a Facebook post asking for help to be the recipient of the mayor’s Wheel Chair: Mayor’s Care program that meets the needs of the Youth. He brought this to the mayor’s office to give Ashley a new wheel chair unit as well.
While Ashley didn’t make it to her own birthday the said wheel chair is expected to arrive next week. This is something the family can use so Ashley can walk around and get some fresh air. Currently, the only family use is a small chair with the first ones that roll around as a make-shift wheel chair.
With the help of Mayor Glo, their family’s situation will be easier and relieved.
The family is very grateful for the surprise delivery of the mayor.
Meanwhile, the mayor was even more pleased to see the joy on Ashley’s face upon the cake she received and the incoming wheelchair. Being able to serve the Youth in need like Ashley strengthens the Mayor’s inner self to continue delivering quality and heartfelt service.
From Mayor Gloria L. Alindogan at the Local Government of Juban, HAPPY BIRTHDAY ASHLEY!
