In its continued assistance to the people of Juban, the Local Government Unit of Juban distributed 300 livelihood starter kits to beneficiaries at the Juban Gymnasium on October 21- 22, 2021.
The DOLE Integrated Livelihood Program to Parent of Child Laborers and Marginalized Workers (DILP) is a joint program of the LGU JUBAN and Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE).
A total of 45 beneficiaries received Fishingparaphernaliawhile 35 beneficiaries for farming, 1 beneficiary for butcher,Kalan making, cooking, fried chicken vending & tourism services, 7 for peanut butter making, 3 for Hollow blocks making, 7 for fish vending, 54 for food vending, 33 for dressmaking, 4 for vegetable vending ,5 for electrical supplies, 25 for frozen products vending, 19 welding, 14 for baking, 19 carpentry and 25 laundry servicing. The livelihood package amounts to a maximum of Php20,000 per beneficiary.
Present during the distribution were Mayor Antonio H. Alindogan, DOLE Regional Director Ma. Zenaida Angara Campita, CESO III, DILLP/TUPAD Coordinator Ms. Rosita H. Magbanua, Livelihood Focal Person Ma. Cristina C. Mactal together with Vice Mayor Felipe Guasa and PESO Manager Mary Jean Pena.
