EXECUTIVE ORDER No.40-B Series of 2021

 

AN ORDER AMENDING EXECUTIVE ORDER NOS. 40-2021 AND 40-A-2021 AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES

 

WHEREAS, Executive Order No. 40 series of 2021 was issued last September 30, 2021 providing for additional guidelines for the prevention and strategies for COVID-19 response and for other purposes;

 

WHEREAS, Executive Order No. 40-A series of 2021 was issued last October 7, 2021 amending certain provisions of EO No. 40 series of 2021;

 

WHEREAS, latest trend in the COVID-19 epidemiological curve in the Municipality of Juban continued to decline;

 

WHEREAS, there is a need to amend the Orders to cushion the negative effects of prolonged social restrictions on the economy and mental well-beings of Jubangnons;

 

         NOW THEREFORE, I, HON. ANTONIO H. ALINDOGAN, Municipal Mayor of the Municipality of Juban, Sorsogon, by virtue of the powers vested upon me by law, do hereby order the amendment of Executive Order Numbers 40 and 40-A both series of 2021 which shall now be read as follows:

 

Sec. 1. The following persons shall not be allowed outside of their respective residences: (i) persons below fifteen (15) years old and over sixty-five years (65) of age with immunodeficiencies, comorbidities, or other health risks; provided, that they shall be allowed access to obtain essential goods and services.

 

Sec. 2. Mass gatherings and similar activities shall be allowed to be undertaken at a maximum of 50% on-site or venue/seating capacity; Provided, that the minimum public health standards and precautions such as the wearing of face masks, and the maintenance of social distancing protocols are observed.

 

The provisions on contact sports and gatherings for necrological services, wakes, internment, funerals for those who died of causes other than COVID-19 shall remain in effect.

 

Sec. 3. Curfew hour shall be from 8:00 PM to 4:00 AM.

 

Sec. 4. The weekend lockdown is hereby lifted.

 

Sec. 5. The Public Safety Unit, the Barangay Officials, MDRRMO, PNP, BFP and the Incident Management Team shall be responsible for the strict implementation of this Order.

 

Sec. 6. Repealing Clause. Any Administrative or Executive Order previously issued that are inconsistent with the provisions of this Executive Order shall be considered repealed, amended or modified accordingly and shall be invalid within the Municipality of Juban.

 

Sec. 7. This Executive Order shall take effect on 23 October 2021.
