Congratulations on this truly outstanding milestone!

Many years ago, you only dreamt of getting your diplomas—painstakingly studying every day and every night to be a step closer to your dreams and aspirations in life. Today must be a proud moment for you, your families, educators and peers: in spite of all the difficulties and challenges you have encountered, you did your best with competence and compassion. It is therefore with great honor and pride that we witness the celebration of the fruit of your hard work and perseverance.

As you leave the four corners of your classroom you’ve come to know as your second home with all the knowledge, wisdom, skills and values you have acquired in your studies, I would like to ask you to take this opportunity to embrace and thank all the people who prepared and led you to this life-changing moment for without their guidance you will not be able to defeat all the deterrents that came your way.

Let me warn you—the future is not for the weak of heart. As you embark on a new journey, you will be facing new challenges. You will meet different people in your chosen fields. You will meet new heartaches. At times, you will stumble and fall.

But you must not fret.

Just keep working diligently and the Lord Almighty will once again bless you with the patience, strength and commitment to aspire for excellence.

The Local Government Unit of Juban, with my leadership as the Municipal Mayor, will continue to capacitate the youth and bring forth accessible and quality education to all Jubangnons through different projects, programs and activities. We will always be behind you as you reach for your dreams. All we ask of you is to persevere as you soldier on in life. Let us join hands in changing the world—in making this municipality a better place for all the other generations to come.

I am hoping and praying that after many years, you’ll come back and share your good news and wins about your hard-won dreams with future students of your school. And we will all be clapping and cheering for you as you attain all your aspirations.
